First Time Cruisers

I like to always get the best bang back for your bucks so do speak. This year, “we” (hubby’s forced into it) decided it will be fun to go cruising for our family vacation. After speaking to friends who are cruising veterans as well as lots of research – Disney Cruise line always comes out to be #1 for families. Some even say for ALL ages. I guess I will know soon enough...

So my hunt for the best Disney Cruise deal begins. A friend recommended using “Vacations To Go” which I think is “awesome”. Prices found here are as good as 82% off last minute cruises. If you are not particular to any cruise line, you can save a lot. For some reason though, I noticed the Disney Cruise Price is not published like the others only its discounted amount. I also found “Cruise Critic Price Drop” to be useful in finding-out stats for Cruise Price Drop with 7 days. In this site, they have the Disney’s original price posted so you have an idea how much you are saving.

Unfortunately though, Disney did not have many deals during our vacation window date (February 2015). But good news is we are travelling off-peak season so the prices will not be as steep. The best deal I have heard that Disney offered was the Kids Sail Free and I think this only happens once in a Blue Moon. The next best thing for us Canadians is the 20% off regular rate but Itineraries are limited..

After comparing the different travel agencies and seeing what perks they offer, we have booked our very first cruise - 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise on Disney Magic! WOOHOO!!!
